Public Forum: Access to Justice for All!

May 13, 2019

If you are in Toronto, please join us for a public forum on funding cuts to legal aid and community legal clinics!

When: Thursday, May 16, 7:00 pm

Where: Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Room 309

RSVP via Eventbrite by clicking here or via Facebook by clicking here.

Community legal clinics are facing 15% funding cut. Community legal clinics provide legal aid services to Ontario’s most vulnerable residents. This vital work is aimed at ensuring that people with low incomes are able to access the benefits and services they are entitled to. This allows them to meet their most basic needs, such as securing or maintaining housing or income support benefits, giving them the ability to live healthy lives, in dignity, as active members of society.

Join the Income Security Advocacy Centre and local Toronto community legal clinics at this public forum to learn the most up-to-date information about funding cuts and discuss ways to reverse the cuts and defend access to justice for all.

See the event poster here: Stop The Cuts – Public Forum – May 16 2019

Send an email to Premier Ford and Minister Mulroney here.
