As has been the case every year for the last three years, the provincial government is applying a 1% increase to social assistance rates starting in November / December 2012.
And, as we do every year, we have created a rates sheet that provides information on the actual amounts of the former and new rates for a select number of family types.
Click here to download the updated rates sheet: Social Assistance Rates Sheet – 1 Per Cent Increase – 2012. The rates sheet also includes information on how some other benefits will also be changing.
