The federal government has opened the pre-consultation period for the upcoming budget. There are usually two periods of consultation, one in March and one in August.

You can participate in the consultation by sending in a formal submission in the following ways:

Fill out the consultation questionnaire at: the pre-budget consultation website here. Hot tip: the questions usually have an “other” option, where you can write about what you really care about, regardless of what the standard set of answer options suggests.
