ISAC has made a submission to the province’s “Changing Workplaces Review”, which is considering making changes to the Labour Relations Act and the Employment Standards Act.
Our submission highlights the connections between social policy and employment law, and the necessity for strong labour market policy and enforcement that can provide a route out of poverty, making work work for everyone.
The submission also recommends specific principles and frameworks that the Changing Workplaces Review Special Advisors should use to guide their recommendations to government.
