ODSP Work-Related Benefit

In 2014, the provincial government announced it would be eliminating seven different employment benefits available to people on OW and ODSP and replacing it with one new Employment-Related Benefit. A very important benefit that would have been lost is the ODSP Work-Related Benefit, which provides an additional $100 per month to everyone on ODSP who has income from employment. ISAC supported the work of the ODSP Action Coalition to fight back against this cut. In September 2015, the government announced it was delaying its plans to implement the new Employment-Related Benefit.
