Ontario’s Basic Income Pilot Project: What will it mean for people on social assistance?

April 27, 2017

– la version française suit dessous –

Earlier this week, the Ontario government announced its Basic Income Pilot Project.

The government has not yet provided all the details about how the pilot project will work, but we are working to get more information and will share it when we can.

In the meantime, we have put together a Q&A backgrounder to give people on social assistance in Ontario, other low-income people, and groups and agencies that work with them some information to better understand what the pilot project will mean.

You can download our backgrounder in English here: Basic-Income-pilot-What-will-it-mean-for-people-on-social-assistance-April-27-2017
